I read a lot of books, mostly Christian fiction, and during my readings I discovered a void.  While many of the plots develop and unfold in an African American Protestant setting, none included the African American Catholic.

Yes, I enjoyed everything I read but I longed for a story with African Americans of my and millions of other African American’s faith, Catholic.   Therefore, I decided to write a series of fictional books about an African American Catholic family.  My first book, MY BOX OF JEWELS, was released Spring 2010.  And I’m currently writing the second book.  But more importantly, I would like to thank God for giving me the time and talent to achieve such a task. However, without the support of my family, friends and church communities, I would have never been able to do so.

Instead of listing many names I’ll just say, thanks to everybody who encouraged and helped me see my dream become a reality.
